Karachi-Pakistan, Dec 23, 2011: Karachi Taekwondo Academy organized its 25th Taekwondo Belt Promotion Test and Prize Award Ceremony on 18h December 2011 at Staff Welfare Community Centre, Garden Road. The Guest of Honor was Muhammad Javed Khan, Secretary, Sindh Taekwondo Association and respectable parents. Around 15 students were promoted from white belt to yellow belt. All of them did outstanding performance.
Students displayed Taekwondo techniques in kicking, blocking, punching, fighting Board Breaking with Body Conditioning. The Chief Examiner Master Muhammad Javed conducted the Test with the help of Syed Abdul Rehman Shah, (3rd Dan Black Belt, kukkiwan), President of Karachi Taekwondo Academy. Senior Black Belt Shabbir Hussain, Ashfaq Ahmed, Muhammad Zubair were also present on the occasion.
The Test includes only Yellow Belt.
The Participating students were Muhammad Faiq, Ali Raza, Nabeed Ghori, Saeedur Rahman, Danish Riaz, Zeeshan Zubair, Rizwan, Zahid, Nastaeen, Mujahidullah, Hafiz Ziaur Rehman, Syed Abu Huraira, and Arab Din. They were awarded Yellow Belts on the occasion.
Karachi Taekwondo Academy team won 14 medals in the 19thQuaid-e-Azam Inter-Schools and Clubs Taekwondo Championship 2011. It was a marvelous display of talent by the Academy players.
In the end, Secretary Sindh Taekwondo Association distributed medals and certificates and trophies to the successful students. He was all praise for the talents displayed by the children and hoped that such events will continue to be held to groom talent.
