Media accreditation for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ is now open

Zurich, Jan 15, 2015: FIFA is pleased to announce that the accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ is now open. The deadline for accreditation applications is 13 April 2015.

Media accreditation via the FIFA Media Channel is only for the written press, websites, photographers and non-rights-holding TV and radio broadcasters.

TV/radio: There is a separate accreditation process for FIFA Media Rights Licensees (MRL). The FIFA Broadcaster Servicing Team (FIFABroadcasterServicing@fifa.org) will address it to the MRL via the usual communication channels.

Media representatives from non-rights-holding TV and radio broadcasters (NRH) can apply for accreditation via the FIFA Media Channel. It must be stressed however that the number of NRH accreditations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015™ will be very limited and subject to confirmation closer to the event.

Visa information: Media representatives visiting Canada are advised that they may require a visa to enter the country and are responsible for making their own arrangements. —- FIFA
