Islamabad-Pakistan, April 03, 2012: AFC C Certificate Coaching Course, PFF Vision 2022, which the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has unveiled on 21 June 2008 PFF Congress, will take Pakistan to new height. This ambitious plan will create pavement to PFF in earning berth in top 15 Asian teams as well earning tickets of World Cup, Olympics and FIFA age-limit competitions in coming decade. But all the coaches had to as a motivated team to make it a reality.” This was stated by PFF’s Director Development & Competition Wing Cmdr ® Pervaiz Saeed Mir on the ceremony of AFC C-Certificate Football Coaching Course at Islamabad’s Jinnah Sports Complex on Tuesday.
According to the press release issued here by PFF, meanwhile, in his message, PFF’s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat has urged the coaches to acquire technical know-how and work with dedication for the promotion and development of football in the country. Makhdoom added there should be free and frank discussion so that the coaches would be able to share each other’s ideas. He emphasised that the coaches should be impartial and implements their knowledge practically on the ground. It is unfeasible to make progress without coaching. Therefore, the coaches must develop the ability to watch and analyze the strong and weak points of the players while selecting national/regional teams. “I hope this course will hone the skill of the coaches,” he added.
“It’s now easier than ever to become a qualified football coach. By getting on the coaching ladder, individuals have the opportunity to progress through the various AFC Coaching qualifications while constantly enhancing their skills and knowledge.,” stated by AFC Instructor Morteza Mohases from Iran.
The participants are; Mohammad Nadir (Afghanistan), Ahsan Ali, Ghulam Fareed, Khan Jaffer, Khan Yasir Sabir, Muhammad Tariq Yunus, Qasim Bilal, Shahid Mahmood Khan, Vaqas Ahmed.
The AFC ‘C’ Certificate Coaching course aims at training coaches and developing their basic techniques and skills in football. It is designed to teach the coaches to organise, direct and conduct basic coaching practices targeting especially young players. The course lasts 13 days and requires a minimum of 85 hours of study time for both the practical and theoretical sessions. In the final examination, students will be assessed on their practical coaching abilities, knowledge of the laws of the game, in addition to learning and understanding of the theory contents of football.
PFF fixes 30 U22 football players for training camp in Lahore for AFC U22 Asian Cup-2013 Qualifier Round
The 30 incumbents of Pakistan U-22 football players are starting their training camp in City School Football Ground, Gulberg Lahore from 3rd April 2012 to 12th April, 2012 for AFC U22 Asian Cup-2013 Qualifier Round from 23rd June to 3rd July 2012. Pakistan has been placed in Group B with Saudi Arabia, Syria, Kyrgyzstan, Palestine and Sri Lanka.
