PFF calls managers meeting ahead of 9th PPFL

Lahore – Pakistan, July 9, 2012: 9th PPFL, The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has called team managers of the 16 A-Division football teams taking part in the 9th Pakistan Premier Football League-2012 (PPFL) which will commence after Ramzan-ul- Mubarak. The managers will figure in a meet which will be held to discuss various technical matters such as debriefing on 8th PPFL-2011, discipline matter’s during PPL-2011, new players registration/transfer, CV of coaches (international players), ground booking and match arrangements of host team, responsibilities of ground coordinator and any other point overlooked. Football House on Ferozpur Road will host the managers meeting on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11.00 Hours PST.

According to PFF, President PFF, Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat has asked PFF Development and Competition department to devise ways and means to make the coming showpiece event of 9th PPFL-2012 clear of any hurdles and discrepancies during 240 matches. The team manager is a very important part of a squad and he should lead by example by demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship to opposing players and officials, said PFF Director Development & Competition Wing Commander ® Pervaiz Saeed Mir.

16 A Division teams who will appear in PPFL-2012 based upon the performance, all top 14 qualified team of PPFL-2011 and top two teams namely ZTBL and Wohaib FC (Lahore) of PFF League-2011 enter the showpiece event of PFF. Two relegated team of 8th PPFL-2011 will play PPL. The draws of the PFFs blue riband event will be issued to participating teams and technical officials during the month of Ramzan-u-l Mubarak. The winner of PPFL-2012 will earn the rights to play in AFC Presidents Cup 2013.

The team managers of KRL, Afghan FC (Chaman), Army, WAPDA, KESC, Muslim FC (Chaman), PIA, Navy, PAF, KPT, HBL, NBP, Baloch FC (Noushki), PMC ATH FC (Faisalabad), ZTBL and Wohaib FC (Lahore) are being asked to attend July 10, 2012 meet. —– PFF
