Lausanne, Feb 13, 2017: 2017 World Table Tennis Championships, The media accreditation period is now open for the Liebherr 2017 World Table Tennis Championships that will be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, from 29 May to 5 June 2017.
The biggest table tennis event on earth will take place at the Messe Dusseldorf, with the Men’s and Women’s Singles crowns being handed out, as well as the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles World Champions being determined.
Interested media who are registered with AIPS, or their national press association need to register here: http://www.ittf.com/2017WTTCMediaAccreditation/ to apply for your media accreditation to witness table tennis history. Applications received after 27 April 2017 will not be considered.
Media interest is expected to be close to the 1000 accredited media, as it has achieved at the recent few World Championships. Interested media are advised to register early as places are limited.
The 2017 edition is set to be one of the biggest World Championships of all time, with the world’s best table tennis stars battling it out to be the World Table Tennis Champions in the biggest table tennis event since the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
