ITTF PRESS RELEASE, Oct 14, 2011: The 2011 Qatar Peace and Sport Table Tennis Cup is set to be a true celebration of the unity sport can offer the world. The unique concept of bringing together players as representatives from countries that have a history of conflict, to form mixed-teams and compete, underlines the value of sport beyond pure competition and provides a powerful statement demonstrating the harmony sport can offer.

This is a concept that has been embraced and supported by Tinsue and Double Happiness, as outlined by Steve Dainton, ITTF Marketing Director:
