Media accreditation opens for AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Astana

Lausanne, April 13, 2016: The media accreditation for the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championship, which will be held from 19 until 27 May in Astana, Kazakhstan is open.

World Boxing Championships are an elite boxing event for the world’s best female boxers, who will compete for the ultimate boxing glory – the title of the World Champion. The event will also have 12 quota places to Rio 2016 Olympic Games up for grabs in three weight categories.

AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships Astana 2016 will offer the media facilities and a comfortable working environment at Barys Arena.
Media representatives wishing to cover AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships Astana 2016 are required to complete the accreditation application on the competition website.
