Slovenia, September 1, 2014: Maceio, Brazil will host the 2014 International University Beach Games between December 2 and 7, 2014. The event is organised by the Brazilian University Sports Confederation (CBDU) and endorsed by the Pan-American University Sport Association (ODUPA) and the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
This competition is aimed to combine sports and fun and it welcomes university teams competing in Beach Volleyball, Beach Soccer, Beach Handball, Beach Rugby, Beach Triathle and Surf.
Teams will represent their Universties and higher-education institutions from countries around the world. The athletes must be aged between 17 and 28 years.
The participants and guests will be accommodated in one of the best hotels in Maceio – Hotel Ritz Lagoa da Anta, and the official point-of-entry is Maceio International Airport, Zumbi dos Palmares. —- EUSA
