IOC Executive Board meeting in February

Lausanne – Switzerland, Jan 17, 2013: The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) will meet in Lausanne at the Lausanne Palace Hotel on 12 and 13 February 2013.

The EB is scheduled to receive reports from various IOC commissions, including the Olympic Programme Commission, and updates on the activities of the IOC administration and preparations for future editions of the Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games.

The EB will also review the five Candidate Cities for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games (YOG) – Buenos Aires (ARG), Glasgow (GBR), Guadalajara (MEX), Medellin (COL) and Rotterdam (NED)* – and decide how many will go through to the next stage of the bidding process.
