Pakistan Judo Team Got Second Position In South Asian Judo Championship 2018 Nepal

Nepal, April 22, 2018: According to the Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) the competitions in 4 different weight categories i.e., -66, -73, -81kg while in women, the competition in -78kg were held today (2nd day of competition) in 8th South Asian Senior Judo Championship 2018 Nepal (Pakistan Judo Team Got Second).

In -66kg Baber Hussain got Silver medal and loss his fight against Shrestha Indra Bahadur from Nepal in final, Nadeem Akram in -73 Kg got bronze medal against Shahi from Nepal.

Muhammad Abbass in -81Kg got bronze against Dorji from Bhutan while Miss Beenish khan in -78Kg got bronze medal and beat Bangladeshian player Khatun, in individual competition.

The competition of team event will be held tomorrow for which the draws will be held at morning.

Over all Pakistan got second position by securing 2 Gold, 3 Silver, 3 bronze Medals.

Pakistan Judo Team will return to their home land day after tomorrow.

Pakistan Judokas displayed commendable performance on first day of the 8th South Asian Senior Judo Championship being held in Katmandu Nepal from 21-24 April 2018.

Pakistan Judo team secured 2 Gold and 2 Silver medals in men and women categories respectively. Olympian Shah Hussain Shah, and a youngster Qaisar Khan got Gold medals while Maryam and Humaira Ashiq got Silver medals.
