Club Word Cup Official Draw will be held in Zurich
Zurich – Switzerland, Sept 8, 2012: The Official Draw for the FIFA Club Word Cup Japan 2012 will take place at the Home of FIFA in Zurich on 24 September at 11.30 CET. The draw, which will determine the match-ups for the Quarter-Finals, will be attended by representatives of the qualified teams.
Four of the seven teams who will take part in the competition are already known: Auckland City FC from New Zealand, Chelsea FC from England, SC Corinthians Paulista from Brazil and CF Monterrey from Mexico. The teams representing the Asian and African confederations and the host team will become known at a later stage.
Media that would like to attend the event, please let us know by 17 September by sending an e-mail to media@fifa.org. Further details will be provided in due course. —- FIFA
