Pakistan Disabled Cricketers three day trials camp concluded at Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: March 07, 2018: The three day trails camp of Pakistan disabled cricketers have been completed the yesterday. Chief selector Iqbal Imam with members Sabih Azhar, Mohammad Jawed and Ashraf took the trials at Rawalpindi cricket stadium here on Rawalpindi, ahead of the teams to participated in Tri Nation Series witness Bangladesh and host England July 2018 (Pakistan Disabled Cricketers).

29 cricketers are attending the trials camp and they all very keen and look determined. The chief selector PDCA Iqbal Imam also added me and my selectors are really impressed with All the players responded well in the trials camp testing 90% players.

Iqbal Imam added we should realize, all of these players ready to play in Pakistan disabled team and I determined I am very much hopeful they produces the positive result in upcoming five Nation event in UK tour.

The selectors PDCA said we finalized the squad and after the approval of president PDCA and former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif. While Hon. Secretary PDCA Amiruddin Ansari the team will announced later in Karachi.

In the trails match President XI beat Patron XI by 7 wickets. Patron XI batting first and scored 105-9 in 20 overs. Adil Abbasi was a top scorer with 36 not out including 5 fours, Zubair Saleem made 20 with 2 fours, Hasnain Alam score 14 runs with 3 fours.

Medium Pacer Abdullah Ejaz grab 3 wickets for 10 runs while emerging talent off spinner majid hussain bowl with both hands and very impressed to the selector he got 2 wickets for 22 runs.

President XI in reply reached the target 110-3 in 19 overs, Saif Ullah scores 36 not out with 6 fours, Rehan Ghani Mirza made 16 runs not out while arif Richard scored 18 runs with 4 fours. Abdullah Khan and Fayyaz Ahmed took 1 wicket each. —- PDCA
