Request for proposals to manage signage services

Dubai, September 02, 2012: The ICC is requesting proposals from companies interested in providing signage services to one or both of the following ICC events to be held during 2013: (1) the ICC Women’s World Cup 2013 and (2) ICC Champions Trophy 2013. These events will be staged in the host nations of India and England & Wales respectively.

A proven track record in the design, production and installation of event and commercial signage for world-class sporting events is essential as well as sufficient resources and experience to provide all the necessary services for the period commencing November 2012 and running through to July 2013.

The successful company is likely to have either a substantial network of relevant contacts throughout the host territory or a proven ability to establish local contacts in each of these countries in order to provide the services to the required standard and within the required time frames.

“Signage is the primary medium through which sponsor brands are exposed to sports fans and as such signage management is an extremely important function for ICC commercial partners. We look forward to welcoming an experienced supplier on board who will provide an excellent service for one or both of these events,” said Campbell Jamieson, ICC General Manager – Commercial.

“The Champions Trophy is one of world cricket’s most prestigious events, and the Women’s World Cup marks the pinnacle of the Women’s game. It’s crucial the quality of signage and the services provided reflects the status of these events,” he said.
