Zurich, July 8, 2021: FIFA is pleased to announce that the accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021™ has been launched via the FIFA Media Channel. The competition will take place from 12 September to 3 October 2021 in Kaunas, Vilnius and Klaipėda. The deadline for accreditation applications is 16 August 2021.

Video journalists
The video journalist function is being introduced for the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021™.

Media representatives with a valid video journalist accreditation pass will be able to take video footage in the mixed zone, press conference room and at official training sessions, space permitting.

The distribution of video footage will follow rules outlined in the video journalist guidelines, which will need to be signed upon collection of a camera sticker and bib on site.

The function will only be available for written press journalists.

TV/radio
There is a separate accreditation process for FIFA Media Rights Licensees (MRLs) that have acquired transmission rights for the tournament. For further information, please go on the BIC (Broadcast Information Centre) and click on the specific event or contact Broadcaster Servicing (BroadcasterServicing@fifa.org).

Media representatives from non-rights-holding TV and radio broadcasters (NRHs) can apply for accreditation via the FIFA Media Channel. It must be stressed, however, that the number of NRH accreditations for the FIFA Futsal World Cup Lithuania 2021 will be very limited and subject to confirmation closer to the event.
