Waleed & Kamran conquered

Karachi – Pakistan, July 29, 2012: 36 Male & Female Bowlers participated in Virtual Axis Ramadan Bowling Tournament 2012 is being organized by Sindh Tenpin Bowling Association (STBA) during the holy month of Ramadan, which remained eventful on 28th July – 8 Ramadan at 11 pm to Sahri timing in Royal Rodale club. The Ramadan Tournament received much appreciation among the players resulted in record participation in Doubles. The Tournament was well appreciated by the society for bring joyful moments in this holy occasion.

Waleed Mukhtar & Kamran Mughal conquered the Doubles TITLE with their enthralling performance secure 1st position with total combined score 312 and received 8,000 rupees; while Asghar Rangoonwala & Farhaj Ahmed got 2nd position with 306 total combined pins dropped and received 6,000 rupees. The 3rd Position was secured by Ahmer Abass & Faizan Tariq with 351 total combined pins dropped and received 4,000 rupees.

While talking to Media Romis Ali, General Secretary of STBA said “Ramadan is a month of blessing, and STBA played its part to bring exciting event for the society to share the joy. We will try to bring more thematic event for most of the segment of the society and maintain our Serving Image as always”.

He said Association is taken serious steps to promote bowling in Sindh. Time is not far away when we truly enlighten the name of our country across the world. He said Government should take keen interest to promote bowling in Sindh and comes forward to establish bowling alleys in every District of Sindh.

Mr Khwaja Ahmed , CEO of Virtual Axis to honour the award ceremony with his gracious presence as a chief guest accompanied by Mr. Aleem Agha, Sr. Vice President of STBA, Romis Ali- General Secretary of STBA and Mr Asgher Rangoonwala CEO of Royal Rodale Club, He distributed cash Award in winning participant. Mr. Aleem Agha concluded the ceremony by giving a note of thank to the participants, honourable guest and media for their dedicated support which resulted in the success of the event. The event ended with a delightful Sehri.
