Sochi 2014 Announces Its Supplier in “Staff Assessment Products” Category

Sochi 2014, News: Staff Assessment Products, One of the leading Russian HR companies – Detech – has been confirmed as the supplier to the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Games in “Staff Assessment Products” category. The agreement was signed by Dmitry Chernyshenko, the President and CEO of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, and Svetlana Simonenko, Managing Partner of Detech.

As part of cooperation Detech experts will undertake competency assessments of Sochi 2014 staff candidates. They will be responsible for the vital task of helping to select volunteers for the Sochi 2014 volunteer program.

The Detech Company has been using innovative techniques for over 7 years, including interactive interviews with candidates and on-line competency tests, as well as unique motivational and personality questionnaires.

Techniques used by Detech will help the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee to implement a major program of selection and training for Sochi 2014 volunteers – starting on 7 February 2012 – and oversee the 26 Sochi 2014 volunteer centers.

In total, there will be 25,000 volunteers working at the Games across more than 20 functional areas of activity; including meeting the delegations at the airport and assisting the staging of the Games’ closing ceremony.

The Detech teaching system will be the part of Sochi 2014’s innovative recruitment program. Detech will work together with the leaders of the HR-market, such as Kelly Services, Adecco and Exect who specialize in a variety of different recruitment fields.

Kelly Services will be responsible for permanent staff recruitment and outsourcing. Adecco Group will provide temporary staff recruitment services to the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee and Exect Business Training will take charge of staff training for the Games.
