London 2012 official hospitality provider Prestige Ticketing Limited appoints VERO Communications

LONDON-UK, April 20, 2012 (By: Sujit Jasani – VERO Communications): Prestige Ticketing Limited [PTL] has appointed VERO Communications, a London-based agency specialising in the business of sport, as its lead strategic communications partner. PTL is the official London 2012 hospitality provider delivering the only onsite hospitality programme at the Olympic and Paralympic Games this year.

PTL, a joint venture company formed by Sodexo, the On-site Service and Motivations Solutions Company, and the Mike Burton Group, an independent provider of sports travel and corporate hospitality services, was awarded the hospitality assets for London 2012 by the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games [LOCOG] in September 2009.

VERO will work with PTL on a range of communications services ahead of and during London 2012, including UK and international media and stakeholder relations as well as advising on business and consumer marketing plans.

Commenting on VERO’s appointment, PTL Chief Operating Officer, Alan Gilpin, said:
