32nd MILO Malaysia Youth Table Tennis Championships:

The 32nd MILO Malaysia Youth Table Tennis Championships is being organized from 27th to 30th May 2012 at the OCM Indoor Sports Arena, Level 3, Wisma OCM, Phase II, Kuala Lumpur.

The Championships is divided into four categories, Boys Under 18 years and Girls Under 19 years and Boys Under 15 years and Girls Under 15 years. Each team has 5 boys and 5 girls. 12 state teams are participating, with 4 teams each. One team is participating in the Boys and Girls Under 15 years, and one team is participating with a Boys Under 15 years only. The total number of players is 253. The inter-team competitions and the individual championships will end on Wednesday, 30th May 2012. Admission is FREE.

OCM Selection Committee Meeting

The OCM Selection Committee will meet on 28th May 2012 at 4.30 p.m. at OCM Boardroom, Wisma OCM, Kuala Lumpur. The Committee will confirm the list of athletes and officials who will be participating in the XXX Olympic Games in London from 27th July to 15th August 2012.

HSBC Asian Five Nations 2012 Championships

The HSBC Asian Five Nations 2012, Divisions 2 and 3, will be held from 30th May to 2nd June 2012 at Kelana Jaya Stadium, Petaling Jaya. Malaysia with China, Iran and Thailand will be competing in Division 2, with the winner being promoted to Division 1 in next year’s championship. Guam, India, Indonesia and Pakistan are competing in Division 3. The competition schedules are as follows:

Division 2:

31st May 2012 at 2.30 p.m. – Semi-Final 1 – Iran vs. Thailand.

31st May 2012 at 4.30 p.m. – Semi-Final 2 – Malaysia vs. China.

2nd June 2012 at 2.30 p.m. – 3rd/4th placing playoff – Losing Team in SF1 vs. Losing Team in SF2.

2nd June 2012 at 4.30 p.m. – Final – WinneSF1 vs. Winner SF2.

Division 3:

30th May 2012 at 2.30 p.m. – Semi-Final 1 – Guam vs. Indonesia.

30th May 2012 at 4.30 p.m. – Semi-Final 2 – India vs. Pakistan.

1st June 2012 at 2.30 p.m. – 3rd/4th placing playoff – Losing Team in SF1 vs. Losing Team in SF2.

1st June 2012 at 4.30 p.m. – Final – Winner SF1 vs. Winner SF2. Admission is FREE.
