By Hadeel Khalil, UAE, 12 March 2019: The full Competition schedule of Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 now available on the official app which can download for free from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Seven venues in Abu Dhabi and two in Dubai will host 24 Olympic-style sports where more than 7,500 athletes are aiming to win a gold medal.
Zayed Sports City, which will host the Opening/Closing Ceremonies on 14 and 21 March respectively, will stage the football, tennis and bowling competitions.
The ADNEC will busiest venue with basketball and table tennis among the 11 sports are holding there from 15-20 March.
Al Forsan International Resort will welcome the riders for the equestrian competitions between 16-20 while during the same dates, the beach volleyball matches will be played at Corniche Beach.
Yas Link Golf Club will host the golf competitions, Yas Marina Circuit will host the cycling and Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yacht Club (kayaking and sailing) will also host competitions.
In Dubai, the Dubai Police Stadium will stage the athletics competitions between 16-20 March while the swimmers will take to the pool at Hamdan Sports Complex for their races from 15-20 March.
Dubai’s La Mer will be the venue for the open water swimming on 16 March, Competition Schedule.
