Ed Hula to Appear on BBC Radio during Games

(Atlanta) – July 3, 2012: ATR Editor Ed Hula will appear on BBC Radio 4’s afternoon news program “PM” with presenter Eddie Mair during the London 2012 Olympic Games.

“I’m looking forward to contributing an out-of-town perspective to this important BBC news program,” Hula said. “Expectations are high for London given its great Olympic history and the exciting backdrop this city provides for the Games. Few cities could do it better.”

The London Games will be the 11th Hula has covered. Barcelona1992 was his first Summer Games.

“PM” is broadcast 5 to 6pm Monday through Friday and 5 to 5.30pm on Saturdays. The program recently triumphed at the Sony Awards – the Oscars of the UK radio industry – winning two gold awards. Hula will join Mair, former Olympian Steve Parry and Olympic marketing and brand specialist Karen Webb on a regular Olympics panel, beginning July 27. The program can be found on the BBC website.
