Islamabad, Feb 16, 2017: 25th Men & 8th Women National Judo Championships 2017 is in progress at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Board, Islamabad under arrangements of Pakistan Judo Federation in collaboration with Pakistan Army.
Colonel Retired Rana Shujaat Ali, President South Asian Judo Federation, Vice President Judo Union of Asia & Member of International Judo Federation Military and Police Commission graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed Medals amongst Medal winners.
4 x Weight Categories (-73 & -100 Kg Men and -48 & -52 Kg Women) were competed on 16th February 2017.
Results are:-
Men. -73 Kg
Imtiaz Hussain from ARMY got GOLD, Muhammad Umair from WAPDA got Silver, while Nazir from RAILWAY and Hussan Butt from PUNJAB got Bronze medals.
-100 KG
Afzal Bashir from ARMY got GOLD, Abdul Hameed from RAILWAY got Silver, while Ufan Abdul Rehman from HEC and Muhammad Shafiq from POLICE got Bronze medals.
Women. -48 Kg
Humaira from WAPDA got GOLD, Aysha from FATA got Silver while Kanwal from ARMY and Noorain from SINDH got Bronze Medals.
-52 Kg
Maryam from WAPDA got GOLD, Naila Banoo from HEC got Silver while Pamila Sherazia from ARMY and Saiqa Iqbal from DHA got Bronze Medals.
