Helsinki – Finland, Sept 26, 2012: The IFF Athletes Commission consists of 4 female and 4 male athletes, out of which the players of each World Floorball Championships are entitled to elect three to four representatives and the IFF CB can based on regional aspects elect one member to the Athletes Commission.
We now invite the IFF Member Associations to nominate one male candidate for election to the IFF Athletes Commission, the election to be organised during the Men’s World Championships 2012 in Berne and Zurich where each player has the possibility to vote for one – three representatives of the nominated persons.
The current Athletes Commission consists of male representatives elected during the Men’s WFC 2010 in Helsinki and female representatives elected one year ago during the Women’s WFC 2011 in St.Gallen. The ordinary period for the mandate is two years.
The objective of the athletes’ commission is to comment and take part in the preparation of the Game Rule changes, looking over the Competition Regulations and participate in the development of IFF Competitions. We now kindly ask each of you to nominate one male to the IFF Athletes Commission ASAP and not later than 02.11.2012. The nominations should be sent to competition@floorball.org and preferably consist of a short presentation including the athletes Floorball CV. —- IFF
