Germany, Sept 16, 2013: The European College of Sport Science (ECSS) met with the China Institute of Sport Science (CISS) in Barcelona to further explore ways of collaboration between the two associations.
The first meeting of ECSS and CISS was in 2011 when ECSS was introduced to CISS in Beijing. From 2011 on there has been continuous contact between the two associations and ECSS invited CISS to ECSS Barcelona 2013 to further develop the cooperation.
CISS was established in 1958 and has been developed by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China for a public service.
Both scientific societies agreed on installing a scientific exchange to further develop the cooperation and relationship between the CISS and ECSS.
The Chinese Institute of Sport Science (CISS) was represented by Prof. Tian, Ye, President of China Institute of Sport Science, Senior Engineer Chen, Qi, Director of Sport Engineering Research Center, Associate Prof. Zhang, Li, Deputy director of Sport Biology Research Center, Assistant Prof. Yu, Tao, Sport Health and Rehabilitation Research Center.
