Karachi-Pakistan May 10, 2012: The Sports Journalists Association of Sindh (SJAS) Managing Committee with consensus finalized the names of five-member delegation for the 3rd PSWF Congress to be held in Karachi from June 1 to 3.
They are:
President: Rashid Ali Siddiqui
Senior Vice President: Syed Nasar Iqbal
Secretary General: Ubaid-ur-Rehman
Member Managing Committee:
Umer Shaheen and Shoaib Ahmed
The Managing Committee, who met on today at PC Hotel to Rashid Ali Siddiqui President SJAS in the chair, also granted full membership to Faizan Lakhani (Geo TV) and Asim Munir (AAJ TV) and associate membership to Fawad Mustafa (Freelance). Akber Ali (Duniya TV) has been granted conditional membership and if moves to Lahore his membership will be recommended to SJAL.
Those who attended the meeting include Rashid Siddiqui, Ubaid Awan, Vice President Tariq Aslam, Treasurer Shahid Ali Khan, Zubair Nazeer, Umer Shaheen, Mujahid Ali Solangi, Emmad Hameed and Imtiaz Naranja. M/S Naveed Arshad, Javed Iqbal, Shoaib Ahmed, Wazir Qadri, Faizan Lakhani and Mrs. Shahida Shoaib Rizvi attended the meeting as observers.
The members were briefed by the Secretary about the program of PSWF Congress and elections and the subscription fees of Rs. 10000 to be deposited to the PSWF.
