Islamabad, Pakistan, April 19, 2014: Pakistan Army wins 13th National Men’s Netball Championship 2014. Army Beat HEC by 27-17 goals and secured 1st position and HEC secured 2nd position. Abdul Haq, Zahid Iqbal, Muhammad Khursheed and Usman Basheer were performed outstanding performance.
3rd position match was played between Pakistan Air Force and Police teams. Air force won the match by 34-27 goals.
Final Ranking:
1st Position: Army. 2nd Position: HEC. 3rd Position Air Force. 4th Position: Police. 5th Position: Sindh. 6th Position: Punjab. 7th Position: KPK. 8th Position: FATA. 9th Position: Baluchistan. 10th Position: Islamabad.
Following were the Technical Officials: Anwar Ahmed, Maqbool Ahmed, Khalid, Pervez, Yasir Jawed, Jamaluddin, Shazia Yousuf, Shahid Ameen, Muhammad Arshad and Muhammad Sajjad Nadir was supervise the matches.
Prof. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman Higher Education Commission and Dr. Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera Director General, Pakistan Sports Board were the chief guest at closing ceremony and distributed the trophies, medals and certificates among the winner teams. Zafar Iqbal Awan, President, PNF, Mudassar Arain, Malik Sameen Khan, Yaqoob Malik, Muhammad Akram Khan, Secretary PBF, Brig. Ghulam Jilani, Director Army Sports Directorate, Col. Qaiser Mustafa, Ms. Shaheem Khan, DG Sports HEC and other dignitaries were also present at the occasion.
Dr. Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera Director General, Pakistan Sports Board announced that the PSB facilities will be provide free of charge to every national sports federations and departments.
Prof. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman Higher Education Commission announced that the HEC will organize the National Women Netball Championship in collaboration with Pakistan Netball Federation.
Sindh wins the National Inter Provincial Netball Championship 2014
Sindh team wins the National inter provincial netball championship 2014 held at Hamidi hall Islamabad. In final match Sindh beat Punjab by 36-29 goals and secured the 1st position while Punjab secured 2nd position. 3rd position match played between KPK and Baluchistan team KPK beat Baluchistan by 27-10 goals and secured 3rd position. Final Ranking: 1st Position: Sindh. 2nd Position: Punjab. 3rd Position: KPK. 4th Position: Baluchistan

Army won the National inter department netball championship 2014 held at same venue. In final match Army beat Air force by 35-26 goals and secured the 1st position while Air Force secured 2nd position. Final Ranking: 1st Position: Army. 2nd Position: Air Force. 3rd Position: Police. —- PNF
