The FIG Appeal Tribunal Seized

Lausanne (SUI), July 23, 2012: Following the notification by the FIG of the disciplinary sanctions, on June 22, 2012, Ms Irina Deleanu has asserted its right to appeal to the Appeal Tribunal of the Federation, on Friday July 13, 2012, within the time limit of 21 days following the notification of the decision of the FIG Disciplinary Commission.

According to the procedures in force, the FIG Appeal Tribunal is now seized of the matter and will meet in due course to decide on the appeal. Where applicable, the defendant may prove an ultimate right of appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne. —- FIG
