Karachi – Pakistan, Sep.15: Country’s leading golfing club Arabian Sea Country Club is hosting an special function at its premises on Saturday noon with Pak Suzuki car company to officially present a Suzuki Swift to golfer Pervez Akhtar of Islamabad who won it in hole in one competition during Sindh open recently held at the club.
A spokesman of the club informed here Friday that the CEO of the club Arif Ali Khan Abbasi and senior officials of Pak Suzuki will attend the function in which the car company will hand over the car and the keys of the car to the golfer who putted the shot in one stroke while hitting an albatross tee shot on par three hole 13 on the second day of the championship on July 7. He said company has completed all the paper formalities to hand over the vehicle which is worth Rs. 1.35 million.
As the championship as being live televised by PTV first time in country’s history the feat was watched by a large number of viewers.
