Global sports jobs signs partnership with WFSGI

Ostermundigen – Switzerland, Nov 06: Digital recruitment platform GlobalSportsJobs has been named official jobs and careers partner of the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI).

Launched in 2010, GlobalSportsJobs is the leading digital recruitment platform for the international sports industry. The site provides access to jobs, career advice and networking for professionals throughout the sports sector. The platform is a destination of choice for talent in the sports sector and allows employers to post their jobs, showcase their brands, manage applications and fill their vacancies in a simple and cost-effective way. Through its unique affiliate network, GlobalSportsJobs is able to reach a much larger international audience and delivers greater reach, quality and diversity of candidates than was previously available.

The new partnership sees the implementation of a WFSGI jobs board, allowing candidates to search for vacancies across the global sports industry and organisations to post their own positions through the WFSGI network. To further promote the new partnership, special offers and conditions on the GlobalSportsJobs platform apply for WFSGI members.

The WFSGI recognises the growth of the digital recruitment market and the need to target a more diverse range of talent in the industry. It joins a growing number of sports organisations such as the International Hockey Federation, Sportcal and the International Motorcycling Federation which have already signed up to the benefits of being part of the largest networks in sport.

Robbert de Kock, WFSGI Secretary General, says: “The WFSGI is delighted to be partnered with GlobalSportsJobs. With the relaunch of our new website and corporate design it was a logical step to expand the services for our members and to improve our Job Market. We take recruitment seriously and consider it important to be able to offer all our members access to the greatest possible diversity and quality of talent that the global sports industry has to offer.”

GlobalSportsJobs Director Will Lloyd says: “We are naturally delighted to have been appointed by WFSGI, a body which represents companies and organisations which play a major role in shaping sport and the sports business. It is the only trade body recognised by the International Olympic Committee and the agreement significantly extends our reach within the Olympic Family.”

GlobalSportsJobs is the jobs partner of many leading national and international sports governing bodies as well as agencies, broadcasters, professional teams and other sectors of the worldwide sports business. —- WFSGI
