London – GBR, Nov 02: The ITF has announced the draw for the 2012 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final between Czech Republic and Serbia at the O2 Arena in Prague on 3-4 November.
The official Fed Cup website, www.fedcup.com and www.fedcup.com/es, will provide comprehensive coverage of the Final, featuring live scoring, reports, blogs, photographs, audio interviews, podcasts and live streaming. The ITF has also launched an official Fed Cup app for both iPhone and Android users.
The 2012 Final will also feature a new look on court with the introduction of black and light grey banners that fully incorporate title sponsor BNP Paribas’s 3D logo. These replace the competition’s pink banners in advance of Fed Cup’s 50th anniversary in 2013.
Antoine Sire, BNP Paribas head of Brand, Communication and Quality, said: “As title sponsor of the competition, we’re delighted to support this innovative move by the ITF, which is designed to give Fed Cup by BNP Paribas a new identity to mark it out from other events. We’re sure that any event or brand reaps benefits from the development of its own corporate identity. We are also taking the opportunity to display our new branding scheme on the courtside banners at the Final: a new 3D composition that fuses our tennis communication with our corporate communication.”
