ASC Netball Coaching & Tournament Program 2012 at Karachi is Started

Karachi-Pakistan, Jan 19, 2012: ASC Netball Coaching Tournament, Mudassar Arain, Secretary General, PNF has informed that the ASC Netball Coaching, Development & Tournament Program 2012 for Girls started on 19th January 2012 at Mini Sports Complex, Nazimabad, Karachi organized by Pakistan Netball Federation in collaboration with Australian Sports Commission & Sindh Netball Association.

Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, Secretary, Sports Department, Govt. of Sindh was the chief guest in the opening ceremony and declared the program open in very colorful atmosphere. Mudassar Arain, Secretary, PNF, Shahzad Parvaiz Bhatti, Deptu Director, Sindh Sports Board,  Muhammad Riaz, Treasurer, PNF and Mr. Ajaz ul Haq, Secretary, SNA were also present in this occasion.

The About 600 Girls players were participated in this program from different schools, colleges & Clubs. The 42 Girls Netball Teams were registered for ASC Netball Coaching & Tournament Program 2012. The Bibs, Balls, Literature and other sports equipments were distributed among the different schools teams which provided by Australian Sports Commission & Pakistan Netball Federation.

The Officials namely Mudassar Arain, Khalid Parviaz , Ajaz ul Haq, Shazia Yousaf, Zaib un Nisa, Anwar Ahmed, Arshad Khan, Jamal, Maqbool Ahmed & Yasir Javed were delivered their lectures and also physically demonstrated in Netball Court about the new Rules, Basic Coaching, Physical Fitness & Techniques of the Game. All participated teams also played practice matches.

The tournament will be played in two categories:

1. School Level / O-level

2. College / A-level/ Open

The following matches will be played on tomorrow:

College Level:

1st Match: The City School PAF Chapter between Corodoba College

2nd Match:Trinity Girls College (Green) between Trinity Girls College (White)

3rd Match: PECHS College between St. Joseph College

4th Match: DHA College between Trinity College (Blue)

School Level:

1st Match: The City School PECHS Between The Educator

2nd Match: The Learning House School Between Trinity School. ASC Netball Coaching Tournament
