Cologne, Mar 6, 2018: European College of Sport Science is pleased to announce that a record number of abstracts has been submitted during the abstract submission process of 23rd annual congress of the ECSS (abstracts submitted ECSS Dublin 2018).
In total 2,461 abstracts were submitted and the majority were submitted during the last days of the submission period.
The scientific diversity of the ECSS congress was highlighted in the abstract submission. Abstracts have been submitted in sport medicine and physiology, biomechanics and neuromuscular, social sciences and humanities as well as multi- and interdisciplinary fields of sport science.
At the moment the ECSS reviewing panel is working hard to assess the abstracts. The full scientific programme will be developed towards the end of March.
The notification to authors will be send out by 1 April.
