Islamabad – Pakistan, Feb21, 2013: Pakistan Army Netball team won the 11th National Men’s Netball Championship 2013 at Hamidi Hall, PSB Sports Complex, Islamabad, the event was jointly organized by the Pakistan Netball Federation & High Education Commission, in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Board.
According to the Secretary PNF, final Match was played between Army and Police Netball teams. Army won the match by 45-44 goals and declared the national champion. Nawab Ali & Zahid Mehmood shown outstanding performance from Army.
1st Semi Final was played between Police and HEC. Police won the match by 43-36 goals
2nd Semi Final match was played between Army and Air Force. Army won the match by 52-45 goals.
3rd Position Match was played between Air Force and HEC. Air Force won the match by 57-53 goals.

Major General ® Muhammad Akram Sahi, President, Pakistan Athletics Federation was the chief guest in closing ceremony and distributed the trophies, medals, certificates among the players & officials. The chief Guest also announced the RS: 50,000/- for winner, 30,000/- for Runner and RS: 20,000/- for 3rd Position team. The Chief Guest also announced the RS: 200000/- for Pakistan Netball Federation.
Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Joint Secretary for Sports, Ministry of IPC, Zafar Iqbal Awan, President, PNF, Marzia Da Re, Counselor, Australian High Commission, Islamabad, Akhtar Nawaz Gangera, DG, Pakistan Sports Board, Malik Sameen Khan, SVP, PNF, Major Muhammad Afzal, Secretary, PVF, Col. Zafar, Secretary, IOA, Brig ® Arif Mehmood Siddiqui, President, IOA and other dignities were also present in this occasion.
The technical officials namely Maqbool Ahmed, Khalid Parveaz, Qudsia Raja, Anwar Ahmed, Said Nawaz, Yasir & Ansar Mehmood were supervised the matches.
