Training Camp for 12th South Asian Judo

Peshawar – Pakistan, June 19, 2012: South Asian Judo, The Pakistan Sports Board along with Pakistan Judo Federation has successfully organized the Judo Training Camp for 12th SOUTH ASIAN GAMES from April 17th, 2012 at PSB Sports Complex, Islamabad.

The 14-Judokas (Male) & 14- Judokas (Female) of different weight categories i.e. -60Kg, -66Kg, -73Kg, -81Kg, -90Kg, -100Kg and +100 Kg (from MEN) and -48 Kg, -52 Kg, -57Kg, -63Kg, -70Kg, -78Kg and +78Kg (From Women) of prominent department of Pakistan are strongly participating.

In the Ist Phase, we have given the chance to the Gold and Silver Medal Winners in the 21st Senior and 5th Women National Judo Championship-2011 & 2012.

And now for the 2nd phase, it is decided by the management to start by tomorrow i.e. June 20th, 2012 from PSB Sports Coaching Centre, Peshawar while having 2-male Coaches i.e. Talib Hussain, Pak-Army and Amir Mukhtar, Pak-Police and 1-Female Coach i.e. Irum Shehzadi Coach, Pak-Police.

CHANGE OF VENUE FOR PJF-NATIONAL TALENT HUNT PROGRAMME-2012/ BELT PROMOTION TEST

It is to inform that the National Talent Hunt Programme-2012/Belt Promotion Test of the Pakistan Judo Federation, which was initially scheduled to take place in PSB, Sports Complex, Islamabad, is now taking place in PSB Sports Coaching Centre, Peshawar. The dates for the events remain unchanged, i.e. 22nd to 24th June, 2012.

The events are scheduled to take place as follows:

Arrival of the Candidates: 22nd June 2012

Men Categories Competitions/Belt Promotion Test: 23rd June, 2012.

Women Categories Competitions/Belt Promotion Test: 24th June, 2012.
