Another upcoming Judo star Pervaiz Khan lost the World

Pehsawar-Pakistan Jan 05, 2012: The 23-year-old young international judoka, Pervaiz Khan, was laid to rest on Thursday in Charsadda, a spokesman for the Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) said on Thursday. Pervaiz sustained severe injuries in an accident on Motorway near Charsadda some 15 days back.

He was admitted to a local hospital where he breathed his last in the wee hours of Thursday. Pervaiz, who belonged to Army, had won a silver medal in the South Asian Judo Championship and a gold in the Inter-provincial games. He also participated in the World Judo Championship held in France last year.
