First time Khyber Distt got 1st Position by clinching 04 Gold, 01 Silver and 01 Bronze Medal

Peshawar, February 08, 2021: 5th Inter District Men Judo Champion ship-2021 commenced on 05th February, and concluded yesterday (7 Feb) successfully, where First time Khyber Distt got 1st position by clinching 04 Gold, 01 Silver and 01 Bronze Medal.

Last year champion Peshawar remained Second with 01 Gold, 02 silver and 1 Bronze Medals, Malakand got third with 01 Gold, 01 silver and 01 bronze medals while Lower Dir with 02 Silver and 01 Bronze medals got 4th position.

Qamber Khail, Khyber District is located in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), a backward area adjacent to the Tribal areas that remained under the clouds of terrorism for a very long time.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judo Association in collaboration with Khyber Distt: Judo Association organized successfully the 15th Inter-District Men Judo Champion ship-2021 from 05th to 07th Feb 2021 at Qamber Khel Bara Peshawar first time in the history of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In which more than 110 athletes from 16 different districts from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa took part. The specially Merged District’s athletes also taken part more enthusiasm.

Masood Ahmed Vice President PJF along with Haji Niaz Wali Afridi, Speaker Awami Inqalabi League, Inaugurated the Championship.

It was a good opportunity to learn and exchange and clarify all aspects related to Judo competition, in order to continue our activity in harmony, showing a positive image of Judo in our Province.

This Championship provided a wonderful opportunity for the Judokas to improve their skills, share their experiences, and establishes friendships through it.

Last day of the competition The President of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judo Association congratulations upon contesting all participants in the Inter-District Judo Championship.

They distributed trophies and medals among the winners and also awarded Souvenirs to Officials and chief Guest.

In the end, announces that soon after the pandemic situation they will arrange National Judo Championship in collaboration with Pakistan Judo Federation. —- KP JUDO ASSOCIATION
