Peshawar – Pakistan, Mar 21, 2013: Pakistan Judo Federation along with collaboration with K.P Judo Association organized its 4th Inter-Provisional Judo Championship-2013 on March 20-21, 2013 at Qayyum Stadium, Peshawar Cantt. The Opening Ceremony was performed by the former Squash World Champion Mr. Mohibullah, Director-PSB Coaching Centre, Peshawar along with Masood Ahmed-Secretary General, PJF.
Top 7 Teams of the Nation have participated in the Championship from all over Pakistan in which IJK participated for the first time:
1. KhyberPakhtunkhwa. 2. Punjab. 3. Fata. 4. Sindh. 5. Baluchistan. 6.Islamabad. 7. IJK
App. 42 players with 8-Female Officials (For the First Time) have participated in this Mega event.
K.P.K Judo Association stood 1stby winning with 89 points and 5-Gold, 1-Silver & 1-Bronze Medals, whereas FATA Judo Association taken the 2nd Position with 42 Points and having 2-Silver & 1-4-Bronze Medals and 3rd Position was captured by Islamabad Judo Association with the 39 Points on the Point Table with 1-Gold, 2-Silver & 1-Bronze Medals.
In the Closing Ceremony Mr. Arif, PTI-Nominee-PF-4; Mr. Hashim Raza-Legal Advisor-PJF; Syed Azhar Ali Shah-Sec.Pak.Cycling Federation; Dr. Wazir Akbar & Noor Shah, President & Sec. FATA Judo Association; President & Secretary, Baluchistan Judo Association, Mr. Maqsood Jutt, Sec. Punjab Judo Association and many others were present. They distributed the Presents among the Judokas and appreciated the Judokas Game along with the Organizers and hoped that on National Level they will present even better than that.
