Lahore – Pakistan, April 24, 2013: Pakistan Football Federation has announced to conduct U-16 Inter Club Girls Football Championship 2013 which will commence on the 17th June, 2013 for the 1sttime in the history of Pakistan Women Football.
According to PFF, Pakistan Football Federation has taken the initiative to develop and promote girls football at Youth level. This will give the chance for the emerging talent to display and further develop their football skills. With the passage of time Girls football will be more popular among youth girls and PFF has to streamline the emerging talent. So, Pakistan Football Federation has planned to organize U-16 Inter Club Girls Football Championship, 2013 w.e.f 17th – 25th June, 2013.
The President PFF “Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat” is pleased with the organization of such championship at Youth Level for the promotion/ development of Girls Football.
Pakistan Football Federation has invited over 50 registered women football clubs around the country to participate in U-16 Inter Club Football Championship, 2013. This will help each club to form/ utilize its young pool of talented players to compete in a competitive manner. This championship will boost the morale of the youth girls and prepare them for big competitions.
