Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia, Mar 04, 2013: AFC has received the following nominations for the extraordinary electoral Congress of the confederation on May 2, 2013. The nominations will now be scrutinised and the list of candidates will be sent to the Member Associations one month prior to the Congress in accordance with the AFC Statutes.
Following the electoral Congress, the Ordinary Congress will convene on May 3 to carry out the statutory business, including the presentation of Standing Committees and the General Secretary’s reports and amendments to the Statutes.

AFC Congress 2013 Accreditation window now open
Media accreditation for the AFC Congress 2013 is now open. The accreditation window will close on April 24, 2013. The AFC Congress will take place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on May 2 and 3, 2013.
Media wishing to cover the AFC Congress 2013 must apply for accreditation online via their AFC Media Channel accounts.
