Media accreditation for the Official Draw for the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015

Zurich, Dec 03, 2014: FIFA and the LOC (Local Organising Committee) are pleased to announce that the media accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the Official Draw for the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015 is now under way. The draw will take place in the Skycity Grand, Auckland at 17.30 local time on Tuesday, 10 February 2015.

A media workshop, mixed zone activities and a post-draw press conference will also take place at the Skycity Grand on that day.

Media accreditation will be required to attend all of these events. International media representatives from the written press, photographers and online media representatives who wish to apply for accreditation should save the attached form, fill it in and return it to, while New Zealand media representatives are kindly asked to return the form to Applications from TV/radio professionals should be sent to:

All applications must be submitted by Tuesday, 23 January 2015, and indicate the name, occupation (photographer, journalist, cameraman, etc.) and media organisation.

All applications are subject to confirmation, which will NOT be on a first come, first served basis. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information in due course. Furthermore, please be advised that international applicants are responsible for obtaining their own visas.

Please note that live transmission and/or filming of the draw ceremony and draw show by accredited media representatives is not permitted. Media outlets wishing to obtain footage for news purposes should contact the LOC at Activities that are not part of the draw ceremony, such as press conferences and mixed-zone activities, may be filmed.
