Lahore (Pakistan), PFF Press Release, Nov 16, 2011: Kiran Ilyas Gouri, first woman football coach of Pakistan has qualified AFC ‘B’ Coaching Course at Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. She was nominated by Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) to participate in the said course (Kiran Ilyas Gouri qualified).

According to the press release issued here by PFF, President, Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat on the occasion of selecting  Kiran had said that four key elements coaching, competition, talent hunt and selection on merit are very essential in the overall development of football. Modem coaches always take these aspects of the game into consideration to help develop football on solid lines. Miss Kiran’s achievement has proved President PFF’s aspirations.

The 32-year-old lass was the assistant coach for the Pakistan teams at the 2010 South Asian Games and inaugural South Asian Football Federation’s Women’s Championships also in 2010. She played as captain for the Punjab province in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 before becoming the coach for the U-14 team at the AFC Festival of Football for girls in Sri Lanka in 2009.  Kiran, who has a master’s degree in sport science, feels she is ‘growing together’ with women’s football in Pakistan which is still in its infancy compared to the ‘big girls’ in Asia.

The course is designed to educate coaches in the advanced techniques and skills of the game, and to help them develop a better understanding of individual or groups of players, tactics and the mental requirements of the game. The duration of the course is 20 days, containing more than 107 hours of theoretical and practical contents.

The examination focuses on the coaches’ practical coaching abilities, knowledge and understanding of the theoretical contents of the game, in addition to a brief presentation of a dissertation to the class. I have been surfing online more than 2 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as
you did, the web will be much more useful
    than ever before.
