Media accreditation process launched for FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019

Zurich, August 6, 2019: FIFA and the LOC pleased to announce that the media accreditation process for media representatives wishing to cover the FIFA U17 World Cup Brazil 2019 now open via the FIFA Media Channel.

The deadline for accreditation applications is 30 September 2019.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup Brazil 2019 will play from 26 October to 17 November in Brasilia (Gama), Goiânia and Vitória (Cariacica).

The final will take place at the Estádio Bezerrão in Brasilia (Gama) on Sunday, 17 November 2019.

Media representatives who do not have an approved FIFA Media Channel account are required to complete the registration form in order to apply for accreditation by visiting http://media.FIFA.com/registration.

Please note that approval to access the FIFA Media Channel does not mean that you have been granted accreditation.

All applications are subject to confirmation and accreditations will not be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

FIFA U17 WORLD CUP, Furthermore:

• International applicants are responsible for obtaining their own visas
– Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information in due course

Information for Media Rights Licensees:

A separate accreditation process for FIFA Media Rights Licensees will be managed by the Broadcaster Services team at FIFA TV, who will provide MRLs with a specific link for online accreditation registration.

Important notice regarding the accreditation system:

FIFA has introduced a new accreditation system that requires a user ID and password that is separate from the FIFA Media Channel account.

When clicking on the media accreditation link, first-time users of the new FIFA accreditation system will need to establish an account by creating a password and clicking on “Register” to access the media accreditation form.
