Media to implement new messaging tool

May 03, 2013: With the aim of further improving our media services, the FIFA Media Department has set up a new messaging tool. As of Monday, 13 May 2013, all media releases, advisories and invitations will be sent out by the FIFA Media Department from the e-mail address fifa@pressfire.net. Please note that replies to this e-mail address will not be possible and you should continue to use media@fifa.org for media enquiries.

Contact details of media representatives who are currently on the FIFA media database and, hence, receive our messages on a regular basis, have been automatically transferred to the new messaging platform.

Media representatives who do not currently receive our messages and would like to be added to our database should first register with the FIFA Media Channel using the following registration form: https://extranet.fifa.com/common/Self-Registration/Self-Registration-Welcome/?siteid=1.

Please note that the FIFA Media Channel will keep functioning as usual. To unsubscribe we kindly ask you to use the “unsubscribe” function that will be available as part of the new messaging tool. To contact the FIFA Media Department, please feel free to use our regular contact options:

E-Mail: media@fifa.org Phone: +41(0)43 222 7272. Twitter: @fifamedia

Kind regards,

FIFA Media Department. —- FIFA
