Media accreditation for the 69th FIFA Congress and the FIFA Women’s Football Convention

Zurich, April 20, 2019: FIFA pleases to announce that the application process for media accreditation for the 69th FIFA Congress 2019 on 5 June 2019 and the FIFA Women’s Football Convention on 6 and 7 June 2019 in Paris now opens on the FIFA Media Channel (http://media.FIFA.com).

The deadline for accreditation applications is 6 May 2019.

The 69th FIFA Congress and the FIFA Women’s Football Convention will take place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Each application will be subject to a review process by FIFA, and successful applicants will be notified by email.

All applicants are responsible for organising any necessary visas, as explained below.

Accreditations for the 69th FIFA Congress and the FIFA Women’s Football Convention will also be valid for various meetings taking place around the actual Congress;

however, please note that Supplementary Access Devices (SADs) may be needed in some cases.

Important: accreditations for the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™ will not be valid for access to the Congress, the Convention or any related activities.

Further media-related information about the Congress and the Convention, i.e. facilities and activities, will be available on the FIFA Media Channel closer to the event.

The entire Congress and Convention will also be streamed live on FIFA.com.

Information for TV and radio broadcasters

FIFA will produce a world feed for the Congress and the Convention and provide services for broadcasters wishing to attend.

All services offered on-site are subject to booking, space availability and final confirmation. Interested broadcasters should contact CongressaccreditationTV@fifa.org for information and to receive the specific TV and radio accreditation link.

SAD requests for broadcasters will process via a booking form that will provide by FIFA TV to interested parties.

FIFA Media Channel

Media representatives who wish to apply for accreditation for a FIFA competition or event need to have a FIFA Media Channel account.

Media representatives who have not already registered for the FIFA Media Channel can do so at http://media.FIFA.com/registration.

This password-protected online service designs to provide media professionals with details on activities and logistical information relating to FIFA events, as well as any special media announcements.

Approval to access the FIFA Media Channel does not mean that you have been granted accreditation.

The media accreditation process for any FIFA competition or event requires the completion of an event-specific accreditation form via the FIFA Media Channel.

Important: information on visas

The visa process can only starts once you have received your approval letter for the Congress and the Convention.
