2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Team Workshop

Zurich, Jan 15, 2014: FIFA is pleased to announce that the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Team Workshop will take place in Florianópolis on 19-20 February, with the next Local Organising Committee Board meeting scheduled for 21 February at the same location.

The 32 participating teams of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ are invited to attend the workshop, which will cover various aspects of the competition in a range of informative sessions.

The associations are requested to participate in the workshop with representation in the following areas:

• Football/technical matters (team coaches)

• Medical matters (team doctors)

• Media matters

• Ticketing/hospitality

• Accommodation

• Transportation

• Marketing

As introduced before the FIFA World Cup in 2010, there will be a workshop dedicated to security, involving the teams but also covering other FIFA World Cup security matters.
