Dubai, Mar 25, 2013: The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced the six squads that will travel to Botswana for the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Division 7 from 6 – 13 April 2013.
Fiji, Germany, Ghana, Nigeria, Vanuatu and host Botswana will compete in Gaborone and Lobatse. The sides will compete for the opportunity to finish in the top two of the event and ultimately gain promotion to Pepsi ICC WCL Division 6, which will be played in Jersey from 21 – 28 July 2013. Pepsi ICC WCL Division 7 will be played on three grounds: BCA NO. 1 and BCA No. 2 in Gaborone, and Lobatse, 70 kilometres south of Gaborone.

Match officials
The match officials for the event include South Africa’s Johan Cloete of the Emirates International Panel of ICC Umpires, who will also act as a mentor, helping to educate and guide the umpires throughout the tournament as part of the ongoing ICC initiative for umpire development outside the Full Members. He will be part of a team of officials from seven countries. Dev Govindjee will be the referee for the tournament.
