Media accreditation opens for WorldRugby U20 Championship

Dublin, May 3, 2016: Members of the media wishing to attend the World Rugby U20 Championship in Manchester, England, can now apply for accreditation to the event.

The competition, which runs from 7-25 June, will be held at the AJ Bell Stadium and the Manchester City Academy Stadium, with matches played on 7, 11, 15 and 20 June. The final will take place at the AJ Bell Stadium on 25 June.

Accreditation will remain open for members of the media until Wednesday, 1 June.

Media will be accredited with a tournament pass to enable them to cover both venues over the five match days. Journalists and photographers will be asked to advise the RFU communications team as to which fixtures they intend to cover, once tournament passes have been confirmed.

The official U20 Championship media launch, featuring all 12 team captains and World Rugby and RFU representatives will take place on Saturday, 4 June in Manchester city centre. Further details will be announced in due course. —- World Rugby
