FIBA EUROPE-Press Release October 7, 2011: Federation International Basketball Association (FIBA) Europe has announced that the Draws for the Euro Basket Qualifying Round for Euro Basket 2013, Euro Basket Women 2013 and the Youth European Championships 2012 will take place in Munich, Germany, on 4th December 2011.
The Euro Basket 2013 qualifiers will take place between 15th August and 11th September 2012. The final number of teams which will participate in the Draw will be announced at the end of October, after the registration deadline.
Twenty six women’s teams will enter the Draw for the Euro Basket Women 2013 qualifiers which will take place between 13th June and 14th July 2012.
The hosts of the various FIBA Europe Youth European Championships will be decided later this year. The dates of the events can be found under the FIBA Europe Calendar.
