IAAF Diamond League Online Media Accreditation is open – new accreditation system launched

March 13, 2015: With little more than two months to go to the launch of the 2015 season of the IAAF Diamond League in Doha on 15 May, the IAAF Diamond League has today opened a new centralised Online Media Accreditation System for 2015.

Via the new system, media representatives can make accreditation applications for one or more of the 14 IAAF Diamond League meetings and retrieve valuable information during the course of the season.

The new system replaces the former password protected media section on the IAAF Diamond League website.

Please see the Guide to the new Online Media Accreditation System (given below) for some basic instructions on how to use the new system.

Guide to the new Online Media Accreditation System
The address to enter the accreditation system is https://portal.diamondleague.com

To access the system the first time, there are two scenarios; depending on if a contact with your email address already existed in the previous system or not.

1) If a contact with your email address was not transferred from the old accreditation system, you can go to https://portal.diamondleague.com and click on ‘Create Account’.

Enter your email address, choose the ‘Media’ category and set a password.

You should then receive an email with an activation link, which you need to click in order to be able to finally login.

2) If a contact with your email address was transferred from the old accreditation system, you will receive an email also today with an activation link (please also check your spam folder).

When you click on that link you should be able to set a new password for your email address and then be able to login into the new system.

If needed, you are kindly asked to fill in your personal information once you access the new system for the first time, under ‘My Profile’.

Under ‘All meetings’ you will see the IAAF Diamond League meetings which are currently open for accreditation. Click on ‘Apply for Accreditation’ to initiate your request.

Under ‘Home’ you will find an overview of the meetings where you have applied for accreditation.

A manual for the system is available by clicking on ‘User help’ in the bottom right corner of the screen.

However, we hope that you get along quite easily with our new Online Media Accreditation System. —- IAAF
