Lahore-Pakistan Feb 29, 2012: Asian Football Confederation (AFC) organized workshop for AFC Judicial Bodies at AFC House Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday February 29, 2012, which was attended by the chairmen and members of its Disciplinary and Appeal Committees.
The purpose of this workshop was to improvise/streamline the process of decision making, executing and implementing the disciplinary decisions. Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, President Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) was cordially invited as guest speaker on this occasion besides representatives of FIFA and UEFA.
According to the press release issued here by PFF, Makhdoom has a unique distinguish being the first ever Pakistani who has held the dual assignment as Chairman of AFC Disciplinary Committee and simultaneously remained member FIFA Disciplinary Committee despite currently holding the appointment of Chairman AFC Legal Committee and member FIFA Players Status Committee.
Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat enlightened the participants of the workshop with his rich experience and suggested measures required for updating the legal proceedings.
His presentation was highly commented by the AFC administration/participants which is unprecedented achievement and matter of pride and honour for Pakistani football family.
