Engage Sports Media partners with IRB World Rugby ConfEx

Dublin, August 06, 2014: The International Rugby Board has appointed leading sports entertainment media organisation, Engage Sports Media, as official production and distribution partner of the 2014 IRB World Rugby Conference and Exhibition (ConfEx), which takes place in London on November 17-18.

Engage will produce footage from the two-day event at Hilton London Metropole and will record and distribute interviews with key delegates, speakers and panellists in the official media suite.

IRB Head of Communications Dominic Rumbles said: “This year’s IRB ConfEx comes at a crucial time ahead of Rugby World Cup 2015 and the sport’s return to the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016. We are presented with an incredible opportunity to build a truly worldwide following via Engage’s excellent production and distribution services and it will play a key role in helping the IRB to communicate how the Rugby family is working together to grow the game globally.”

Total Rugby covers a range of content, from competitions such as Rugby World Cup, HSBC Sevens World Series and IRB Junior World Championship to regular behind-the-scenes features and interviews. The show currently airs in 150 territories, reaching more than 500 million viewers through more than 18 networks worldwide.
